Philodendron Heartleaf Hederaceum Lemon Lime Care

Watering:

Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot.

Light:

Place the Philodendron Lemon Lime in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves, but too little light may result in leggy growth and diminished leaf color.

Temperature:

Maintain a temperature range between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid exposing the plant to cold drafts or extreme temperature fluctuations.

Soil Mix:

Use a well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and pine bark works well to provide adequate drainage and aeration for the roots.

Humidity:

Philodendron Lemon Lime thrives in moderate to high humidity levels. Mist the foliage regularly or place the plant on a humidity tray to increase moisture levels, especially in dry indoor environments.

Fertilizer:

Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer) every 4-6 weeks. Reduce fertilization frequency in fall and winter.

Toxicity:

Like other members of the Philodendron genus, Philodendron Heartleaf Hederaceum Lemon Lime is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep it out of reach of children and pets, and handle with care to avoid contact with the sap, which can cause skin irritation.
