Peperomia Rotundifolia Hope Plant Care
Watering
Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. It's better to err on the side of under-watering than over-watering, as its succulent-like leaves store moisture.
Light
This Peperomia loves a spot with bright, indirect sunlight. While it's adaptable and can manage in lower light conditions, too much direct sunlight might be a bit harsh for its delicate leaves.
Temperature
Hope thrives in temperatures ranging from 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C). It's not a fan of the cold, so keep it away from drafty windows or sudden temperature drops.
Soil Mix
A well-draining mix is the Dischidia Watermelon's best friend. A blend of potting soil with a touch of perlite or orchid bark will make it feel right at home.
Humidity
While Hope is quite adaptable, it does appreciate a bit of humidity. If your environment is on the drier side, consider misting the plant occasionally or placing it on a tray with pebbles and water.
Fertilizer
Feed Hope with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks during its active growth phase. During the winter months, you can reduce the feeding frequency.
Toxicity
The Peperomia Rotundifolia Hope is non-toxic to pets and humans. However, as with all plants, it's always a good practice to keep them out of reach of curious pets and children.
