Kalanchoe Flowering Plant Care

Watering

Water every 2-3 days when top 2" of soil is dry. Keep soil moist at all time.

Light

Kalanchoe thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. A sunny window sill or a spot with filtered sunlight indoors is ideal.

Temperature

Kalanchoe prefers temperatures between 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 29°C), making it suitable for most indoor environments.

Soil Mix

A well-draining soil mix, such as cactus or succulent mix, is essential for Kalanchoe, allowing excess water to drain away quickly and preventing waterlogged roots.

Humidity

Moderate humidity levels are generally sufficient, but misting the plant occasionally can provide additional moisture, especially in dry indoor conditions.

Fertilizer

When it comes to fertilizing, feed Kalanchoe with a balanced fertilizer diluted to half-strength during the growing season

Toxicity

Kalanchoe is toxic to pets and humans if ingested, so keep it out of reach of children and animals.
