Begonia brevirimosa exotica is a rare exotic plant with showstopping foliage. This New Guinea species has a shrub-like growth habit and large flashy leaves. It has striking elliptic shaped leaves with dark olive green palette with wide bands of metallic pink. This plant will get tall and as it does will need to be staked. The pink flowers form on a terminal inflorescence. This plant needs extra humidity. It will grow fine in a humid greenhouse or garden room, or it can be grown in a large terrarium.

Water every 4-7 days when top 1" of soil is dry. Keep soil moist but not soggy.
Medium indirect sunlight or 8-10 hours under grow lights.
